Is this the Path for You?
The Sacred Business Program is for you, if you are an entrepreneur, business-builder or creative professional looking to increase your income through meaningful work; enhance your energy and vitality, strengthen your relationships with the people you care about most, and deepen your spiritual path & life purpose.
You will become crystal clear about what matters most, and learn to let go of what no longer serves you. You will learn to focus your time, energy, and money on intelligent and practical action that will transform your life and connect you more deeply to your meaningful work. You will develop the power to adapt and change in the face of challenges and stress, as opposed to falling victim to limiting beliefs, anxiety, overwhelm, and feeling that you have to play small in your work and life.
If you are an entrepreneur, business owner or creative professional, and you are struggling with the challenge of integrating the deeper meaning of your life into your work, this program may be the right next step.
In this Program, you will be invited to
- dream boldly and courageously
- speak your most inspiring vision for your life and meaningful work
- go on a journey of personal growth and professional development within the context of a supportive community of peers who are on a similar path
- practice embodying the qualities of strength, faith, trust, confidence, focus, sincerity, curiosity, and a beginner's mind - not just talk about them.
- and find new possibilities and pathways to organize your work so that you are more clear-minded, focused, engaged, and you get the results you want and need
Schedule a 60-Minute "Clarify Your Vision" Session
After your session, you will have:
- a clear vision for your meaningful work
- a plan to take practical action, so you see real results right away
- identify your core pain, so you know what's getting in the way of you growing your vision into reality
- experience what it feels like to overcome your challenges, and develop the essential confidence to grow your vision.
Serving you is my meaningful work.
This is not a cooker-cutter program that you have to fit into - it is a journey that we will travel together. This program is the integration of my life's work. I have traveled all over the world, living and learning with native peoples, farmers, political and community leaders, entrepreneurs and visionary business leaders, and healers of all types.
I have taken risks, I have been scared, lonely, and felt that I would never be able to make it. And, I have had the experience, many times, of finding that place in my heart where I know that I am here for a reason, and found a way to persevere. As I said, I am on this spiritual path of meaningful work, and my greatest purpose and passion is to support other seekers on the spiritual path, who are passionate about weaving their spirituality into their meaningful work.

A Short Story about The Medicine Tree Center for Integrative Health & Evolutionary Leadership
I once saw a vision that the old growth trees - the ancient Redwoods of Northern California - suddenly began to sprout up all over the planet. This has become my guiding vision - to cultivate "old growth" capacities like stability, health, and resiliency, and to support entrepreneurs and creative professionals to activate the evolutionary leadership qualities that are so essential in our time, as our economy and culture changes so rapidly.
We start face-to-face with life purpose - why am I here on this planet at this time? What am I here to do? Who am I, underneath my social conditioning in a culture that has a habit of only looking at the surface of things. Who am I in an era that is coming to an end, and in a new era that is just emerging? What is my role? What is my responsibility? How can I imagine a vision for myself that feels free and joyful when there is so much suffering going on around me? In this first step, we will work with the empowering core belief that "I am here for a reason."
The Visioning Process starts from the end - your Legacy. What will you leave behind after your life is over? Then, we move closer to the present, with your twenty-year vision. From here, you will have an opportunity to actually meet your Future Self. Then, we move to the Practical Vision for 3 to 5 years. And finally, we go to work on your Twelve-Month Vision, where you will be next year. This powerful visioning process gives you the time and creativity to plant yourself strong in your vision, so you know in your heart it is real, tangible, and practical. Week 1: Face to Face with Your Life Purpose - Why am I Here? Week 2: What will you leave behind? - A Conscious Look at Your Legacy Week 3: Meet Your Future Self & Create Your 20-Year Vision Week 4: The Practical Vision: 3-5 Years Week 5: Your 12-Month Vision - Where will you be next year? |

"When I started work with Lev, I was beginning my 41st year of embodiment in human form. My children were 4 and 6. I was married. I was attempting to develop new focus in the primary areas of my life— inner/creative work and teaching, family, livelihood and business. I had been granted the gift of some new energy to focus and was applying some discipline. I felt motivated, and the time was right for coaching. The space that Lev created with his presence, intuition, and flexible responsiveness allowed me to turn my attention inward and carve out a larger, freer space to navigate. During the course of work I was able to form strong intentions—focusing on relationship with my partner, and leadership in my business. Both of these underwent positive changes. The best part has been a regular, manageable commitment to attend to myself with the help of a patient, accepting ear, and sound counsel. I had the sense with Lev of being supported and accepted. I also appreciated his use of tools, which he offered skillfully. I recommend Lev to anyone who is available to change, and ready to inhabit presence more fully."
Without commitment, your vision is merely a fantasy. It is this human quality of commitment that empowers you to walk on the path, everyday, learning to love the challenges that you face with each step.
Commitment is a seedling that you plant in the heart, care for, through the twists and turns of life. Self-Empowerment is what happens as you continue to cultivate this seedling, and it grows into a strong tree, with deep roots and a strong trunk. As Doc Lew Childre, the Founder of the Institute of HeartMath says, "Self-Empowerment is much more than just the achievement of external goals. It's about accumulating the power to efficiently adapt to whatever life brings you. As you peacefully adapt, you magnetize more options for productive solutions and positive changes."

Week 7: Seven Keys to Self-Empowerment on the Path to Meaningful Work

"Beginning to work with Lev helped me to take my passion and integrate it into something that I can put my life energies into…Every step of the process has been life changing. Looking inward, and coming up against my limiting beliefs and resistances, and making the commitment to my vision, has been incredibly powerful."

Now its time to translate your vision, with all of its inspiration, love, and heartfelt conviction, into tangible goals and action steps. This step will awaken your inner fire of passion to take action. What would you be able to do if you knew you couldn't fail? Or, better yet, if you had permission to not be perfect, and it was actually okay for you to learn from your mistakes (like all successful leaders). Taking powerful action is the quickest way to receive feedback, learn, and adapt your strategy. If you are always planning, you will never know what actually works in the real world.
In this step, you will learn to observe your natural rhythm of work, reflection, and rest, and step-by-step, begin to weave your goals and action steps into your own natural rhythm of time management, so that you develop a clear timeline for your vision to manifest itself; using time-tested structures and systems that empower you to work with balance, grace and ease.

"My life has escalated and is more passionate, as the coaching has brought me more in touch with some earlier ambitions that I feel I can now better realize and more fully express. I am connecting this expression with a sense of purpose — which is to help bring a renewed spirit to prayer and song in the Jewish World, and I think I can make a lasting contribution in this area. I recommend working with Lev to anyone who is looking to get in touch with their sense of purpose and is looking to do some deep exploration of what is truly meaningful in their life."
How you communicate, both your tone of voice and the content of what you say, determines whether or not people trust you, listen to what you say, and engage your meaningful work. Your Message is like the water flowing in a river. The riverbed forms the integral systems and structures that allow your message to flow smoothly and gracefully to those you are here to serve. Those that you serve, or would love to serve, are searching for your message, the same way someone wandering in the desert is searching for a drink of water to quench their deep thirst.
In this step, we learn to humble ourselves, and open to the guidance we need in order to communicate most effectively to those who need what we have. As we open to this essential sacred practice, we develop an ability to communicate effectively, and with care, compassion, and intelligence, both in our meaningful work with clients, and in our relationships with friends, family, community, and those who support us on our path.

"When I started working with Lev, I was feeling not quite enough, not so confident, scared to put myself out there and to own my gift. Now I am feeling more confident than ever before. I feel the potency of my gift and I am offering it to the world in a big way. I have started the Center for Healing & Transformation with my partner and am beginning to lead groups in Boulder. My purpose is clearer and more deeply ingrained in my being than ever before. The question is not what is my gift but how can I offer that gift to the world more and more. Lev helped me to create a ceremony in nature to fully claim my adulthood and that I am building a business and I now feel more empowered and supported by the world. I am now living with the love of my life and starting a business together. I have deep intimate connections where I feel more and more empowered to be vulnerable, open and loving. I feel more free to be who I truly am out in the world. Lev honors all aspects of my being and welcomes them into the coaching, so I don’t need to leave any of me behind. He meets me where I am at, and uses that experience as building blocks to where I want to go. I always end up feeling more empowered, more centered, and clearer than when I came on the call. Lev allows the Earth to speak through him. He feels a deep sacredness and reverence for all life that is palpable. I highly recommend working with Lev. He will help you be clearer about how to live a fulfilling, meaningful life where you are giving your true gifts to our world."
Whether you currently earn a regular salary employed at an organization or you are a business-owner, healing your relationship with money is essential for a self-empowered relationship with your meaningful work. Having a fundamental understanding of your wounds around money will empower you to see your situation more clearly, and therefore, respond more appropriately.
When you are scared to look at your wounds around money - which may have to do with panic, anxiety, or shame that you will not have enough or guilt that you will have too much - your relationship with money can become a major roadblock to being able to adapt, change, and integrate the new social role that may come as you naturally grow more deeply into your meaningful work.
In order to improve your relationship with money, it is necessary both to thoroughly examine and transform your core beliefs and perspectives about money and create strategies and practical action steps to align your financial planning with your core values. In this step, you start by bringing money close to your heart, to heal your emotions and transform your relationship with money. Then, you are able to more fully appreciate your assets, understand the five flows of abundance (giving, receiving, offering, taking, and stillness), and engage in a practice of healthy budgeting and investing.
Week 13: Healing Your Relationship with Money
Week 14: Appreciating My Assets & The Five Flows of Abundance (Giving, Receiving, Offering, Taking, and Stillness)
Week 15: Designing a Budget and Investment Plan from a New Place of Balance and Self-Respect

"I was looking for a new path - how to take my coaching business further and find my grounding in what I could offer as a coach. I needed to find the purpose in working with my clients that was more meaningful to myself than just "coaching." I was trying to find the people to whom I could be of service and the place where I could serve best. I feel I´ve gotten a lot closer to just that. I now have a better platform that combines my interests and what I do for fun with my coaching. And, my business is developing new branches. It´s like a tree that is growing from where my inspirational ideas spring forth.
What has changed most is my relationship with my body. My health is suddenly a lot more important than before and I see it in a new perspective that allows me to have a new contact with myself in a way that feels more natural. It´s as if I´ve been deaf and numb most of my life. I feel that the Medicine Circle with Lev allowed me to become grounded and speak the truth about myself. The framework that was offered allowed me to access a deeper part of me, a more natural part, you can say and this is something that has lead me closer to myself so I can feel what is right for me. It´s as if the context that Lev provides is leading you to the essential parts of life and yourself so you can do what you´re here for." |
There is a big difference between intellectually understanding the health benefits of an exercise or spiritual practice like yoga, tai chi, or vocal toning, and actually practicing it, a little each day. Feeling yourself change and develop qualities of strength, resilience, and presence, is very different than "knowing" the benefits of a practice. Likewise, there is a difference between actually feeling supported in your life and work, and just imaging that you had the support that you really need.
In this step, we will focus on the benefits of using sound healing practices for a clear mind and a conscious body, which are essential for effective and efficient work. Why sound healing? Because sound is an organizing principle. Used intentionally for healing, wellness and self-care, sound will naturally bring organization, integration, and balance to your life, with tangible results from a 3-minute practice.
From self-care, you will move to a focus on building empowering relationships. A strong support network is key to cultivating the courage you need to walk the spiritual path towards your vision of meaningful work. In other words, it is your ability to build purposeful, respectful and mutually supportive relationships with others that will give you the social capital to feel powerful enough to bring your vision into reality. Your network of relationships and intentional community will allow your vision to grow, with resilience, strength, and the presence to stand the test of time.

Rite of passage experiences are rooted in traditional cultures that value their connection to nature as primary and essential for their health and development as individuals and as a whole community. The purpose of a rite of passage experience is for participants to sincerely honor themselves as they transition from one developmental stage of life to the next. When this transition is honored and acknowledged as real, the transition becomes a transformation, and participants feel that they have given themselves permission to express a new quality of maturity, wisdom, and skillfulness in their life and work.
In a very real sense, a rite of passage is a technology of transformation; meaning that there is a leaving behind, a shedding of the old skin, so to speak, in order to allow the new being to fully emerge from within. This is an ancient technology, developed over thousands of years and has been adapted and expressed through many different cultures and religions. For example, Judaism has the Bar-Mitzvah, Christianity has Confirmation, and Native American traditions have the Vision Quest. While every culture has its own traditions for activating the rite of passage technology, the same basic transformational outcome is experienced cross-culturally.
In my own life, rite of passage experiences have given me a way to honor myself and the gifts that I have to share with others. They have been essential in my ability to have the courage to go forth and start my own business. In this Program, the function of the rite of passage is to acknowledge the good work you have done in this program, and step fully onto the spiritual path of your meaningful work. Once we arrive at this step, I will share about my own rite of passage experiences in greater detail and explain how they have been so valuable to me, on a down-to-earth practical level - in terms of supporting me in my meaningful work.

In our culture, we rarely take the time for integration. If a farmer works the land all season, tilling the soil, planting the seed, caring for his crop, and then, when the fruits of his labor are ready, he never harvests his crop, we would call him crazy. But, that is exactly what you do, when you put your blood, sweat, and tears into our meaningful work, and then don't take the time to harvest.
In yoga, the practice is called "shavasana," or corpse pose. After a full workout of body postures, its essential to rest, and let all the movement find stillness, alignment, and integration.
There is tremendous value in investing time to integrate your experience in this program and celebrate the good work that you've done. This is an opportunity to harvest, to create some time and space to ask: what have I really learned? How have I changed? Who am I now that I wasn't six months ago? And then, to ask what is next for me - in terms of cultivating the qualities of Self and in terms of practical action still left undone? And, finally, its truly essential to make time to celebrate the joy of being on this sacred path of life, love, and work.

"When I started the program, I was going through incredible life changes...I still am. I found the program helped me to develop a stronger relationship with myself and my connection to Spirit. The practices were very grounding and helped my to ground myself when things were chaotic. This enabled me to reach beyond what I thought I was able to do. While in the program, I wrote a book and developed a retreat to offer support for my clients while they reflect, give voice to, and move through their life changes. A great part of the power of the program is companioning others and witnessing their journeys as well as my own. Lev is an incredible guide through this landscape. His use of spiritual principles creates a structure that gave me something concrete to use as guideposts in my journey."
How can I trust that I will grow over the course of these 6 months? What if I get in my own way and can't move forward?
This program is designed for you to take simple, but powerful steps, that will support you to shift your perspective about your life, work, and relationships. Then, small, natural changes in your life will emerge, and you will see the landscape of your life gradually look different. Each step creates a little more space inside, and that feels liberating. You will begin to feel safe to take action that you felt scared to take just a few weeks or months ago. Why? Because your perception of the landscape of your life and work changes as you grow, and it helps a lot to have a supportive community traveling with you.
Over the course of 6 months, taking small steps will create significant changes in your life and work that will empower you to continue on a trajectory toward your vision. The point is not "how far you get," because the path is infinite, it is never-ending. The point is that after six months of working with your vision in an intentionally supportive community of peers with a skilled facilitator, you will have developed a solid root in the qualities of being and the necessary practices that are essential to grow your meaningful work.
Program Components:
Part One: Weekly 90-Minute "Medicine Circle" Seminars
Each call begins by sharing celebrations and gratitude about events or experiences over the course of the past week. Then, we enter into a group centering practice to bring the Circle into resonance and connection. Lev teaches about the topic for that particular week, then the Circle opens up for participants to receive coaching, healing, and support on key challenges or questions that they are experiencing. We finish the call with participants sharing their "take homes" - what you learned and what you will practically integrate into your life and work, in the coming week. Lastly, we will end with a short centering practice to bring closure to our work together.
Part Two: The Weekly Guidebook
In addition to receiving the teachings, coaching, guidance, and support from the weekly Medicine Circle calls, you will have one, simple, straightforward exercise to engage in during that particular week. Instructions and guidance for the topic of each week is shared through The Weekly Guidebook, which will include inspirational and educational writings, instructions for the exercises, and audio mp3s to download for guided visualizations and sound healing recordings.
Part Three: Online Community
Once you register, you have access to the Private Facebook Group for The Sacred Business Program. This is an opportunity for participants in the program to give and receive Peer Support, Accountability, and to Build Empowering and Intentional Relationships.
Part Four: Individual Sacred Business Coaching Sessions with Lev Natan
Lev usually meets with private clients twice-a-month. He is open to customizing a support structure just for you, that aligns with your specific needs and natural rhythm.
Time investment?
Each week, you will listen to a 90-minute mp3 seminar, and engage with 30 to 60 minutes of Guidebook exercises. So, the total time investment for the program is about 2-3 hours per week.

"You, my friend (Lev), undoubtedly have a gift in making Sacred all the powerful, emerging, sometimes raw & mysterious forces that we have to contend with in our lives. From your silence comes a juicy/bittersweet concoction of tenderness, hard-ass, funny & inspiring shots of wisdom. You are brilliant! And I am so glad that you are in the business of shining your Light on the dimly lit paths of Soul-diers alive at this Time (and how wonderful that we can all come together in this Circle."

"When I started working with Lev, I felt like a victim of my circumstances and that I needed to focus on me, honor me and empower myself more fully. I needed to find a focus around which to empower myself more fully and didn't know what it was, but thought it might be business related. After only 5 sessions with Lev, I am focusing on myself, doing more for myself and with myself. I am honoring what I want and need and empowering myself more fully. I am more connected to my heart, to my higher self. Lev hears me and sees me, fully. He also asks the right questions which help to draw me out. He is very spiritually based, which I like and resonate with, and that makes him unique. I would recommend anyone who is open, in transition, and in need of spiritual guidance. I would refer Lev in a heart beat." -Peg Malloy, Nutritionist / Health Counselor & Relationship Coach | Hudson Valley, NY
